General Sales Condition

Order Acceptance

The receipt by email the confirmation of an order does not automatically mean that GSD accepts the said order and is not a confirmation that GSD agrees to sell the item ordered. GSD reserves the right, without prior notice, to refuse to do business with some customers. It may be necessary to GSD, and that, at any time, to verify personal buisness information or credit card before accepting an order.

Payment terms

We accept the following methods: Interac, Visa, MasterCard, Amex, check and bank transfer.

For running bills : We only accept the following methods: Interac, check and bank transfer. Interest charges starts on the 31th day after de billing date. 35% interest based on a 3% charge per month.

Price

The price payable for each product that you order is as set next to each product offered on the Site.

The cost of transport and delivery and applicable sales taxes are calculated online but can vary depending on exchange rates and external stakeholders beyond our control. If there is a change in delivery costs, you will be notified.

GSD reserves the right to modify at any time the prices of products offered on the Site.

All prices are available in Canadian dollars (CAD). Prices of products on the Site may differ from the prices offered for the same products to different GSD service points. Promotional prices may vary, we can not guarantee accuracy from a month to another. Prices may vary according to the purchase volume of the client.

Product Availability

The site displays all products that can be ordered online. Please note that these are not necessarily part of the inventory of GSD or the Site.

In the event GSD must wait for one or items out of stock become available, it may be that your order is held before being shipped. If you are ever in a hurry to receive one or some items in your order, we recommend that you place a separate order for this (s) last (s).GSD not in any way guarantees the availability of products offered on the Site. Delivery times after receipt of your order can be up to 48 hours.

In the event that you wish to take possession of your order at our offices directly, the items are set aside for a period of 48 hours. After this period, the goods are returned to the inventory and the order cancelled without notice.

If GSD can deliver to you one or other of the products you have ordered due to insufficient inventory, GSD notify you by email and you will then have the following options: Maintain your active order with the site and allow the site to ship the product (s) (s) out of stock without notice, and, from its (their) reception, in which case payment will be automatically deducted from your credit card account for the product (s) (s) before it (s) last (s) so you do (es) delivered (s) selected by the carrier when ordering. At any time prior to the receipt by the Site (the) product (s) out of stock, you will be able to cancel your order by contacting us by email or by phone. Please note that your (your) product (s) out of stock will (be) command (s) from vendors than in the (s) day (s) after the maintenance of your order on the Site. Cancel your order by contacting us via email or by phone, in which case a refund will be made for this product (s) (s).

GSD will at no time responsible for any damage that you may suffer because of an out of stock situation.

Supply of goods

GSD deliver the products ordered to the delivery address you transmitted when ordering. Delivery costs to Canada are free for purchases of $ 1,500 or more (before taxes).

For purchases of $ 1,500 and under, shipping on orders fees in Canada is to be calculated when making your purchase. Delivery will be made by GSD as soon as possible after acceptance of your order, depending on the shipping method you chose on the site. The time and cost of delivery may vary depending on the destination of the shipment, the chosen method of delivery and product availability.

Delivery times are estimated from the time the goods leave the place of business of GSD. You become the owner of the products you have ordered when they will be delivered by GSD to the transport company. From that moment, you will be required to assume the risks and GSD shall not be liable for their loss or destruction. For any product delivered outside of Canada, you are responsible for all costs of customs brokerage and any other costs related to exporting outside Canada.

Delivery of products is subject to the rules of the delivery companies with which GSD does business and the rules of any other company with which GSD can do business from time to time. If applicable, you are subject to the particular rules concerning the signing of an acknowledgment of receipt. If you are away from where you asked GSD to deliver the products, it will be your responsibility to recover the products according to the rules of the delivery company you choose on the website when ordering.

GSD reserves the right to retain an order in the event that full payment of the product has not been made.

For all other methods of delivery, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the accuracy of the delivery information and to pay the costs.

Responsibility

The refunds are limited to an amount of money equivalent to the price you paid for the products returned.

No compensation will be granted in any form.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in this section shall have the effect of limiting any right you may have as a consumer under any of the laws of public order that may be applicable in your case.

Return policy

It is possible to obtain a credit note or exchange within 30 days of purchase. Note that you must present the original receipt and that the product must be in perfect condition for resale.

A restocking fee of 25% will be applied on the credit notes.

Delivery charges are non-refundable. Credit notes are applicable within 60 days.

To report a return merchandise, you must contact the customer service info@gsdgroup.ca or 1 (866) 791-7020.

Note that you must present the original receipt and the product must be in perfect condition.All material must be returned in its original box (unopened, undamaged, with the instruction manual, warranty card and all the accessories). If a product is defective it will be exchanged following a technical verification in exchange for the same product.

Note that the special orders cannot be exchanged or refunded, except in case of defects. Please note that special orders are only eligible for repairs.

Warranty

The warranty offered by GSD covers DVRs, recorders, and cameras for a maximum of 36 months after the date of purchase of the equipment. This excludes PTZ cameras which are guaranteed for a period of one year after the date of purchase. Accessories such as switches, BALHUNS, monitors, wall brackets, etc., are warranted for a period of one year from the date of purchase. The guarantee is limited only to the damaged material.

All return shipping charges are only covered in one way, i.e. that GSD only covers one of the two transports (send or return). The customer must, therefore, assume the transport costs not covered by GSD

This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for GSD. This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by this website. It will notify you of the following:

1. What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the website, how it is used and with whom it may be shared.

2. What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. Security

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the Web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Merchandise rotation ( Distributor only )

The merchandise rotation could be made maximum twice every year. The goods must be in new condition. GSD reserves the right to refuse to credit an item if it is damaged or out of date.

Special orders are not eligible for merchandise rotation.

The serial numbers of items and their purchase dates are required upon shipment of the goods. Upon receipt of the goods, GSD will proceed to credit or exchange within 10 business days. Two options are available to you;

1. A credit of 80% of the value of the item will be granted.

2. A credit of 100% of the value of the item will be granted to you, through the purchase of two models of the same categoryand of the same values as the returned item.
